Part 1

Fionn, a two year olf Friesian filly, has fled her sire's herd, once the knowledge of him giving her to the Lead Stallion Alucard has been learned. She doesn't want to simply rule under a stallion, or be ruled by one. Fionn wants to rule a herd of her own!! This young filly just doesn't know that the dance she is dancing is a wicked one, that lashes out at its partner's heels, lapping blood, and comsuming all who dance.
Alucard, a black Percheron stallion, the Lead Stallion of a Ragory herd, was promised an untouched Friesian filly of royal blood. Having fought beside and against Fionn's sire, Alucard knows that her blood is strong and pure, thus making Fionn all the more desirable. Intent on having the filly he was promised, Alucard follows Fionn, his herd always behind him, though their numbers are down due to his intent on Fionn and not on keeping up the foals of his herd.
This game of cat-and-mouse can't continue forever. Either Fionn will surrender to Alucard, or Alucard will have to give up his chase in order to care for his herd.
